Summary: In which Pete and Patrick have always been girls named Megan and Penny. They meet backstage at a gig where Penny mistakes Megan for a groupie or maybe someone's girlfriend. It's not the worst in the history of first meetings, but there have been better.

"We don't have a name but...those guys? Over there," Penny says, waving a drumstick in the direction of her band's singer and guitarist. "I'm Penny," she adds as an afterthought.

"Right," Megan says.

"Are you lost or something?" Are you someone's girlfriend? Penny almost asks, and as soon as she thinks it, it feels ridiculous.

"Lost," Megan echoes blankly. "Like?"

Penny shakes her head and says, "Never mind. Nothing." But Megan looks like she knows, like this isn't the first time she's gotten this.
